Trump 'endangered my family' says Pence while sipping warm milk to calm down

INDIANAPOLIS (The Egg) — Former Vice President Mike Pence gave his harshest criticism of former President Donald Trump on Wednesday for his actions during the Jan. 6 riot, and reportedly had to be given a glass of warm milk by Mother to calm down.
The former vice president’s remarks were made late last night at his Indiana home while staring at himself in the mirror. At the time, Pence was working on self-confidence exercises provided by his therapist, and reportedly got so worked up he almost used the Lord’s name in vain, according to a source close to the Pence family.
“You can do this Mike, you are strong and loved,” Pence said repeatedly while looking into the mirror. After a few deep breaths, he continued: “I had no right to overturn the election. And his reckless words endangered my family and everyone at the Capitol that day.”
“And I know history will hold Donald Trump accountable — but I can’t,” Pence exclaimed as he ran out of the bathroom, near tears a source confirmed.
A Pence spokesman released a statement shortly after the incident refuting claims that Pence cried, but did confirm that the former vice president often drank warm milk to “unwind after a hard day,” and to “loosen up in social situations.”
“Former Vice President Mike Pence has apologized to his pastor for his outburst earlier tonight after consuming too much milk,” the statement said. “Pence is working hard to build up the courage to take on former President Trump, and we appreciate your support during these difficult times.”
